![]() We know that all of life is comprised of energy, and that our bodies are biological machines working on energy. To eat vegan is to charge your body on the energy of life by consuming high amounts of Sun fed food in contact with solar energy which acts to keep your body and mind high functioning. The energy of the sun is crucial to life on earth and to the health of our own bodies, this same energy from the sun is providing our fruits and vegetables with life giving energy that through a process of photosynthesis is transformed into the plants own food. Plants are capable of storing light in their DNA as a form of electromagnetic frequency, these are called biophotons which are the smallest physical unit of light. Biophotons are used by all biological organisms on our planet, they contain bio-information which control many complex processes in our bodies. Plant foods have high concentrations of these Bio-photons which means high density of nutrients and Bio-information which acts in our bodies to elevate our physical body to a higher oscillation and order. Light acts to regulate function in the cells and many life processes. These Bio-photons in our food contain biological and nutritional information that vital processes of our bodies require. So, it is best to be eating more Raw, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in our diet as to maintain a high functioning body by a process of exchange in solar energy when consuming sun fed food. A good way to reimagine what you consider healthy food is to re-think the food pyramid. From the top of the pyramid we would have food that is in direct contact with solar energy, this would be Wheat grass, Chorophyll and types of essential oils. Than after we would have all our super foods such as Sea weed, Almonds, Raw Cacao, Spirulina and many others. Than we would have the food that grows from trees such as apples, advocado, mango, banana and so on. Than our food from the earth which are potatoe, Cabbage, pumpkin etc.. After we would have all our Animal products such as Dairy and eggs and lastly forms of meat and processed foods. This energy that comes from our plant based food is a way to harness your high vibrational energy to elevate your conciousness and to achieve higher states of mind, age old spirtual traditions have kept to a plant based diet for this reason. In recent studies mummies from Ancient Egypt were carbon dated and they found that they were predominantly plant based, especially in the higher class such as the priest hood. This did come as quite a surprise to the scientists as you would expect that perhaps a high amount of fish was consumed considering their relationship with the Nile river. The Ancient Egyptians understood the process of life at a very advanced level, they understood the cyclical processes of the earth and the importance of consuming foods high in the solar energy of the sun. The sun is a crucial aspect to the spiritual tradition of the Egyptions, it is depicted and represented throughout the pyramids and temples of egypt. It is no suprise that early civilisations such as Egypt were plant based, as they understood life at a very indepth level and knew that to ascertain high levels of conciousness a high amount of life energy was required which is best absorbed through the foods we consume. My personal experience with plant based food has been not only a journey into health and high function in the body but also in my mind and conciousness. I noticed after a few months of being plant-based that I was more focused and with that focus I found I was more productive throughout my day. I would focus more on things that were good for me such as a reflection of consuming foods that are good for my body. Meditation become a huge part of my life, and I would integrate that same sort of conciousness I would achieve in my meditation in daily life, when I go for a walk or play music it is also a meditation. With the constant delve into calm states of mind I found that my once over active mind was calm and tranquil and life outside myself was easier to balance and deal with. Life on the outside felt as waves ontop of the ocean, nothing but a mild disturbance to the vast depth of my inner being that I was constantly in contact with because of my meditational practice. I found that just from the change of diet to more Plant based food, it had a domino effect and swept into all aspects of my life overall creating a vast change in a positive direction. To conclude this article I would like to suggest that if you haven't tried a plant based diet in tandum with meditational practices, than perhaps you should give it a go and see how harnessing the life energy of the sun through your diet can help to transform your body and conciousness towards a more positive direction, as our Ancient ancestors did and further into our future as a family of humans on this earth. This same ethos pervades accross many spiritual traditions and goes back thousands of years, Ancient Egypt was an early civilisation that adopted the plant based lifestyle. Keeping the body light through eating plant based is a catalyst for change in our bodies and energetic states of being, through the ascertainment of a light physical body you may find your practice in Meditation or Yoga flows better. Personally I have noticed that when i'm on a Vegan diet my body feels comfortable and light which in turn effects my mood, I find my mind is working better and is not over active. It also effects my Meditational practice, I feel I can get to a deeper place faster and it's easier to be concious of the energy around your body and to follow the breath and tactile sensations of your body to get to a deep and calm state of mind. The state of mind achieved in meditation flows into my daily life, I feel more zen and at peace inside myself and feel I can connect deeper to the natural environment. The nutritional benefits of eating plant based help you to maintain a healthy body and mind which is crucial to living a joyous life. We know from new science that our gut bacteria works on an axis connected to our brain the 'Brain gut axis', through the food we eat certain brain chemistry is effected such as our serotonin, the feel good chemical. So with eating nutrient dense food you will find your mood elevated and the concious decision and will power exercised in sticking to a clean diet has many benefits for the mind and body. The age old statement 'you are what you eat' has a lot of truth to it, if you're eating the product of the earth you are increasing the life energy of your own self and elevating your conciousness. Our brain and body requires the nutrients and minerals in plants to work at it's most effective capacity, if we are neglecting to eat plants in our diet the chemistry of our body and brain is effected in a negative way.
