I came to South America with the intention of learning about Shamans and the mystery behind the plant medicines, throughout my stay in Ecuador I have participated in various ceremonies and have recorded my experiences. In this article I will list a few of the experiences I have had in ceremonies throughout my stay in a Plant medicine healing retreat just outside the city Cuenca in Ecuador. The way these ceremonies were conducted was in the setting of a Maloka, in the middle was a fire that was kept by two people under the command of the Shaman and around the fire sat 30 guests that were consuming the medicine facilitated by 2 Shamans who would conduct the prayers sing the Icarus songs and serve the medicine.
The benefits of a raw food diet are healing the world. More and more people are discovering this new phenomenon of consuming raw fresh food in its purest and natural state. Especially in a world where most people are suffering from some disease or another, feeling bogged down and lacking the flow of prana/lifeforce energy that is supposed to naturally flow through our being, more and more beings are discovering how a raw food diet can return us to our natural state of being which is health.
After two weeks volunteering in Montanita, working in the Amor Infinito vegan restaurant, I get to take on a morning shift. This is when the magic happens, when all the nutritious veggies and fruits are turned into delicious meals. I am excited to finally be a part of this.
